MindStreet Accessibility Statement and Policy
Updated: March 31, 2026
Our Mission
MindStreet, Inc. is a digital therapeutics company that develops and distributes clinically validated, evidence-based digital cognitive-behavioral therapy (dCBT) programs to address a range of mental health conditions. We are on a mission to make mental health care accessible and affordable. We design our digital tools to complement, not replace, the care and judgment of qualified health professionals.
Our Commitment
At MindStreet, we’re committed to making our digital products accessible to people with disabilities. As a provider of web-based Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) for mental health and wellness, we know that our tools must be usable by everyone, not only because it’s clinically important, but because it’s the right thing to do. We’re always working to improve the experience for all users and to follow established accessibility standards so that our evidence-based treatment programs are as inclusive, equitable, and barrier-free as possible. To that end, we are committed to :
- Building products that are grounded in clinical research and best practices in mental health care.
- Prioritizing user safety, privacy, and dignity in every feature we design.
- Creating experiences that are simple and compassionate, so people feel seen and heard, not treated like data points.
- Listening to feedback from patients, providers, and caregivers, and using that feedback to guide our product improvements.
- Continuously improving our accessibility, usability, and clinical effectiveness so that more people can benefit from timely support.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all of MindStreet’s web-based applications, digital wellness products, and online platforms. Because our products are accessed only through standard web browsers, we focus on ensuring they work well with modern browsers (such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox) and with assistive technologies that connect to them.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) outline what designers and developers should do to make digital content more accessible for people with disabilities. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards inform our designers and developers on how to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
Accessibility Features in Our Web Products
To support our users, we focus on building the following accessibility features into our browser-based platforms:
- Keyboard Navigation: We design our assessments, modules, and interactive elements so they can be used with a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
- Screen Reader Compatibility: We structure our HTML with appropriate ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmarks so that screen readers and other text-to-speech tools can accurately present our content to users.
- Visual Clarity: We maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for standard text to support users with visual impairments, and we design our interface to continue working well when users zoom in using their browser settings.
- Cognitive Support: We use clear, consistent layouts, predictable navigation, and straightforward error messages to support users who may be managing depression, anxiety, cognitive fatigue, or other mental health challenges.
Assessment and Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project for us; it’s an ongoing responsibility. MindStreet includes accessibility checks throughout our software development lifecycle. We review and test our web platforms using:
- Automated browser-based accessibility testing tools
- Manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers
- Periodic internal VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) reviews
